Dementia and Coffee

Dementia is a mental disorder that leads to memory loss and coffee might prevent you in that regard. According to latest medical research, having two coffee mugs a day can reduce the risk of dementia by 36% respectively. The research journal suggests that the coffee addicts are less likely to develop dementia and cognitive impairment. The research, by scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, reveals that women over 65 who report caffeine consumption of more than 261 mg per day are 36 per cent less likely to develop dementia over 10 years. This is equivalent to two to three cups of coffee a day, five to six cups of black tea, or seven to eight cans of Coca-Cola.
