Ye bhi kya shaam-e-mulaaqaat aayi,
lab pe mushkil se teri baat aayi.

Subh se chup hain tere hijr-naseeb,
haaye kya hoga agar raat aayi.

Bastiyaan chhod ke barse baadal,
kis qayaamat ki ye barsaat aayi.

Koi jab mil ke hua tha rukhsat,
dil-e betaab wahi raat aayi.

Saaya-e-zulf-e-butaan mein ‘nasir
ek se ek nayi raat aayi. !!

Hasti Apni Hubaib Ki Si Hai By Meer Taqi Meer

Mir Taqi Mir employs a mesmerizingly mystic, almost surrealistic

imagery in these couplets:

"hasti apni hubab ki si hai
ye numaish sarab ki si hai

nazuki us k lab ki kya kahiye
pankhari ik gulab ki si hai

bar bar us k dar pe jata hun
halat ab iztirab ki si hai

main jo bola kaha k ye awaz
usi khana-kharab ki si hai

'Mir' un nim-baz ankhon main
sari masti sharab ki si hai
                (Meer)

Yeh watan Tmhara hai, tum ho Pasibaan is ke

Yeh watan Tmhara hai, tum ho Pasibaan is ke

Yeh chaman tumhara hai tum ho nigheban is ke

Is chaman ke phulon par rung e aab tum se hai

Is zameen ka har zarrah aaftab tum se hai
Yeh fiza tumhari hai beh o bar tumhare

Yeh watan tumhara hai tum ho pasban is ke

Yeh chaman tumhara hai tum ho nigheban is ke

Is zameen ki mitti mein khoon hai shaheedon ka

Arz e pak markaz hai qom ki umidon ka
Zulm ke andheron mein apna aap pehchano
Yeh zameen moqaddas hai maan ke pyar ki surat
Is jabeen e fursat mein gard bar ki surat

Yeh watan tumhara hai tum ho pasban is ke

Yeh chaman tumhara hai tum ho nigheban is ke

Mere karwan hum the ruh e karwan tum ho

Hum to sirf aankhein hain asl warsan tum ho
Yeh watan tumhara hai tum ho pasban is ke

Yeh watan tumhara hai tum ho pasban is ke

Yeh chaman tumhara hai tum ho nigheban is ke

Jo Chaly Tu Jaan Sy Guzar Gae By Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Urdu Poetry

Na Ganwao Nawak-e-Neem Kash, Dil-e-Reza Reza Ganwa Diya,
Jo bache hain sang samait lo, tan-e-dagh dagh luta diya..
Mere charahgar ko naveed ho, sifh-e-dushmanan ko khabar karo,
Wo jo qarz rakhte the jaan par, wo hisab aaj chuka diya…
Karo kaj jabeen pe sar kafan, mere qatilon ko guman na ho,
Keh gharor-e-ishq ka bankpan, pas-e-marg hum ne bhula diya..
Udhar ek harf ke kashtani, yahan laakh guzar tha guftani,
Jo kaha to sun kar ura diya, jo likha to parh kar mita diya..
Jor ke to koh-e-giran the hum, jo chaly to jaan se guzar gaye,
Reh-e-yaar hum ne qadam qadam, tujhe yaadgar bana diya…!

Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook Reassures Muslim Users

Mark Zukerberg, the founder of the  facebook , has  added  his voice  to one of the most contentious political issues of the moment, with a strong statement on Wednesday night in support of Muslims and Islam. Granted, his statement also made good business sense for Facebook.I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world.

 His words were
"After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others.
As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities. Even if an attack isn't against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone.
If you're a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you.
Having a child has given us so much hope, but the hate of some can make it easy to succumb to cynicism. We must not lose hope. As long as we stand together and see the good in each other, we can build a better world for all people."

Compiler and Interpreter

Software tools
Several special-purpose programs are needed to help with the process of developing new programs. They are sometimes called software tools because they are used to build programs. Examples of basic software tools include an editor, a compiler, and an interpreter.
Initially, you use an editor as you type a program into a computer and store it in a file. There are many different editors with many different features. You should become familiar with the editor you will use regularly because it can dramatically affect the speed at which you enter and modify your programs.

Each time you need to make a change to the code of your program, you open it in an editor. After editing and saving your program, you attempt to translate it from high-level code into a form that can be executed. That translation may result in errors, in which case you return to the editor to make changes to the code to fix the problems. Once the translation occurs successfully, you can execute the program and evaluate the results. If the results are not what you want (or if you want to enhance your existing program), you again return to the editor to make changes.

The translation of source code into (ultimately) machine language for a particular type of CPU can occur in a variety of ways. A compiler is a program that translates code in one language to equivalent code in another language. The original code is called source code, and the language into which it is translated. A high-level expression and its assembly language and machine language equivalent High-Level Language Assembly Language Machine Language

called the target language. For many traditional compilers, the source code is translated directly into a particular machine language. In that case, the translation process occurs once (for a given version of the program), and the resulting executable program can be run whenever needed.
An interpreter is similar to a compiler but has an important difference. An interpreter interweaves the translation and execution activities. A small part of the source code, such as one statement, is translated and executed. Then another statement is translated and executed, and so on. One advantage of this technique is that it eliminates the need for a separate compilation phase. However, the program generally runs more slowly because the translation process occurs during each execution.
The process often used to translate and execute Java programs combines the use of a compiler and an interpreter. The Java compiler translates Java source code into Java bytecode, which is a representation of the program in a low-level form similar to machine
language code. The Java interpreter reads Java bytecode and executes it on a specific machine.

Uniform Resource Locator

Information on the Web is found by identifying a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). A URL uniquely specifies documents and other information for a browser to obtain and display. An example URL is:
                 http://www.yahoo.com
The Web site at this particular URL enables you to search the Web for information using particular words or phrases. A URL contains several pieces of information. The first piece is a protocol, which determines the way the browser should communicate. The second piece is the Internet address of the machine on which the document is stored. The third piece of information is the file name of A browser is a software tool that loads and formats Web documents for viewing. These documents are often written using the HyperText Markup Language (HTML).

URL
A URL uniquely specifies documents and other information found on the Web for a browser to obtain and display.

If no file name is given, as is the case with the Yahoo URL, browsers make a default selection (such as index.html). Let’s look at another example URL:

http://www.gestalt-llc.com/vision.html

In this URL, the protocol is http, which stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol. The machine referenced is www (a typical reference to a Web server), found at domain gestalt-llc.com. Finally, vision.html is a file to be transferred to the browser for viewing. Many other forms for URLs exist, but this form is the most common.

The World Wide Web

The Internet gives us the capability to exchange information. The World Wide Web (also known as WWW or simply the Web) makes the exchange of information easy. Web software provides a common user interface through which many different types of information can be accessed with the click of a mouse. The Web is based on the concepts of hypertext and hypermedia. The term hypertext was first used in 1965 to describe a way to organize information so that the flow of ideas was not constrained to a linear progression. In fact, that concept was entertained as a way to manage.

The World Wide Web is software that makes sharing information across a network easy.

The underlying idea is that documents can be linked at various points according to natural relationships so that the reader can jump from one document to another, following the appropriate path for that reader’s needs. When other media components are incorporated, such as graphics, sound, animations, and video, the resulting organization is called hypermedia.

Browser
A browser is a software tool that loads and formats Web documents for viewing.Mosaic, the first graphical interface browser for the Web, was released in 1993. The designer of a Web document defines links to other Web information that might be anywhere on the Internet. Some of the people who developed Mosaic went on to found the Netscape Communications Corp. and create the Netscape Navigator browser. It is currently one of the most popular systems for accessing information on the Web. Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is another popular browser.

Web Server
A computer dedicated to providing access to Web documents is called a Web server. Browsers load and interpret documents provided by a Web server. Many such documents are formatted using the HyperText Markup Language (HTML). Appendix J gives an overview of Web publishing using HTML. The Java programming language has an intimate relationship with Web processing because links to Java programs can be embedded in HTML documents and executed through Web browsers.

The Internet

Internet History
Throughout the 1970s, a United States government organization called the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) funded several projects to explore network technology. One result of these efforts was the ARPANET, a WAN that eventually became known as the Internet. The Internet is a network of networks. The term Internet comes from the WAN concept of internetworking—connecting many smaller networks together.

From the mid 1980s through the present day, the Internet has grown incredibly. In 1983, there were fewer than 600 computers connected to the Internet. By the year 2000, that number had reached over 10 million. As more and more computers connect to the Internet, the task of keeping up with the larger number of users and heavier traffic has been difficult. New technologies have replaced the ARPANET several times since the initial development, each time providing more capacity and faster processing.

Protocol
A protocol is a set of rules that governs how two things communicate. The software that controls the movement of messages across the Internet must conform to a set of protocols called TCP/IP (pronounced by spelling out the letters, T-C-P-I-P).

TCP/IP
TCP stands for Transmission Control Protocol, and IP stands for Internet Protocol. The IP software defines how information is formatted and transferred from the source to the destination. The TCP software handles problems such as pieces of information arriving out of their original order or information getting lost, which can happen if too much information converges at one location at the same time.

IP Address
Every computer connected to the Internet has an IP address that uniquely identifies it among all other computers on the Internet. An example of an IP address is 204.192.116.2. Fortunately, the users of the Internet rarely have to deal with IP addresses. The Internet allows each computer to be given a name. Like IP addresses, the names must be unique. The Internet name of a computer is often referred to as its Internet address. Two examples of Internet addresses are
            spencer.villanova.edu
 and     kant.gestalt-llc.com.
The first part of an Internet address is the local name of a specific computer. The rest of the address is the domain name, which indicates the organization to which the computer belongs. For example, villanova.edu is the domain name for the network of computers at Villanova University, and spencer is the name of a particular computer on that campus. Because the domain names are unique, many organizations can have a computer
The Internet is a wide-area network (WAN) that spans the globe.
Individual departments might be assigned subdomains that are added to the basic domain name to uniquely distinguish their set of computers within the larger organization. For example, the csc.villanova.edu subdomain is devoted to the Department of Computing Sciences at Villanova University.
The last part of each domain name, called a top-level domain (TLD), usually indicates the type of organization to which the computer belongs. The TLD edu indicates an educational institution. The TLD com refers to a commercial business. For example, gestalt-llc.com refers to Gestalt, LLC, a company specializing in software technologies. Another common TLD is org, used by nonprofit organizations. Many computers, especially those outside of the United States, use a TLD that denotes the country of origin, such as uk for the United Kingdom. Recently, in response to a diminishing supply of domain names, some new toplevel domain names have been created, such as biz, info, and name.

DNS
When an Internet address is referenced, it gets translated to its corresponding IP address, which is used from that point on. The software that does this translation is called the Domain Name System (DNS). Each organization connected to the Internet operates a domain server that maintains a list of all computers at that organization and their IP addresses. It works somewhat like telephone directory assistance in that you provide the name, and the domain server gives back a number. If the local domain server does not have the IP address for the name, it contacts another domain server that does. The Internet has revolutionized computer processing. Initially, the primary use of interconnected computers was to send electronic mail, but Internet capabilities continue to improve. One of the most significant uses of the Internet is the World Wide Web.

Hoti Hai Tere Naam Se Wehshat Kabhi Kabhi By Nasir Kazmi

Hoti Hai Tere Naam Se Wehshat Kabhi Kabhi
Barham Hui Hai Yun Bhi Tabiyat Kabhi Kabhi

Ay Dil Kise Naseeb Ye Taufeeq-e-Iztiraab
Milti Hai Zindagi Main Ye Raahat Kabhi Kabhi

Tere Karam Se Ay ALm-e-Husn-e-Aafreen
Dil Ban Gaya Hai Dost Ki Khilwat Kabhi Kabhi

Dil Ko Kahan Naseeb Ye Taufeeq-e-Iztiraab
Milti Hai Zindagi Main Ye Raahat Kabhi Kabhi

Josh-e-Junoon Main Dard Ki Tugyaniyon K Saath

Ashkon Main Dhal Gai Teri Surat Kabhi Kabhi

Tere Qareeb Reh k Bhi Dil Mutmayin Na Tha
Guzri Hai Mujh Pe Ye Qayamat Kabhi Kabhi

Kuch apna Hosh Tha Na Tumhara Khayaal Tha
Yun Bhi Guzar Gai Shab-e-Furqat Kabhi Kabhi

Ay Dost Ham Ne Tark-e-Muhabbat Ke Bawajood
Mehsoos Ki Hai Teri Zarurat Kabhi Kabhi

Poverty in Pakistan

Pakistanis an Asian country and comes under the category of “Central andWest Asia”. Today, the sight of the entire world is towards Asian countries because of their tremendous economic progress since last decade. This economic growth helps these countries to up their living standards and reduce poverty to greater extent. In an economic paper presented by Asian Development Bank (ADB) in June 2011, poverty updates of 25 Developing Member Countries (DMC’s) of ADB are presented by taking into account the impact of recent spikes in food prices. These 25 DMC’s include:Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timer-Lester, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Viet Nam.
In this economic report many approaches are in use to measure poverty ratios in these countries. More common ratio of them is Head Count Ratio (HCR) “The proportion of country’s total population, spending less than $1.25 per day (extreme poverty) or $2 per day (moderate poverty)”. If a country’s HCR is reduced it mean’s that poverty level in this country is low and vice versa. In this economic paper, among DMC’s, china andIndiaare account for most reduction in poverty level because of their impressive economic growth and their HCR decrease to good level. But there are also many DMC’s whose poverty ratio increase despite the fact that their HCR decline. The reason behind this is that, these countries testimonies lethargic economic growth. Indeed, economic growth for any country is crucial for its survival but this only measure is insufficient to guarantee considerable poverty reduction. This observance about poverty increasing despite HCE reduction in DMC’s is due to inequality of income distribution inAsiaand Pacific.Pakistanis amongst those DMC’s whose poverty ratio increase while decrease in HCR. What are the factors behind this vicious circle of poverty that is expanding its volume day by day? And what is the reason behind the fact that National Income of Pakistan is less than National Income of any developed country. Let see some reasons…..
It is well marked fact that National income of any country is multiparty effort of four factor of production like Labor, Land, Capital, Entrepreneur and the national income of any country is sum up of wages of labor, rent of land, interest of capital and profit of entrepreneur. National income of any country also tells about the living standards of this country, higher the national income higher the living standards are enjoyed by the residents of this country. Unfortunately, national income ofPakistanis far less than any developing country national income that is good picture and evidence of worse poverty situation in Pakistan.
Pakistanis such a country who is suffering poverty from the very early time of its independence. At the time of separation of sub-continent and sovereignty in 1947 Pakistaninnate most backward parts of this continent with only one university, one Textile mill and one jute factory even that Pakistandoes not have its own bank. Facilities regarding food, education, transportation and hospitalization were insufficient enough to meet people requirements. These sectors due to their sluggish position where were unable to meet people requirements along with this, these all sectors of economy were also unable to produce income for the migrated poor people. This is also the worst fact that after the independence and death of Quaid-e-Azam and their loyal political leaders Pakistani nation does not locate any sincere, strong-minded, and worth able leader that possess the qualities to cope with this situation. Pakistan’s history is full of such dictators who make this country routes weak and weak just because of their personal interests and to make money so does not give attention towards country’s progress. Too much dishonesty, red tapes, favors, selfishness and greed was seen and still seen in government and political sectors. Big land lords take into custody most important parts of government and make illegal use of their authorities. Most of the money that was specified for welfare schemes of people was handicapped by politicians. Indeed after 64 years of independence, our country makes much progress in every field of life but due to erroneous policies and structure of government, changing nature of government, wrong political authorities and wrong standards of living money remain limited from always just in few hands. This situation makes the rich, richer and poor, poorer so widens the gap between rich and poor. So it is well said that “Corruption in our country has got the status of fifth factor of Production.
Pakistanis an underdeveloped country instead of activating many schemes to trim down poverty with the association of national and international organizations; it is still fail to achieve this goal. In 2008, 17% of people were living below the poverty line. That was the lowest figure in the history ofPakistan. But this figure has increase to 25% now.
Along with above reasons many other factors are also causing increase in poverty.Pakistanis an agricultural country.70% of its population’s income depends upon this sector but sorry to say that people belonging to this sector are uneducated and conservative; their minds are unable to adopt modern technology. So this sector is not paying them what they deserve. Their incomes are low so as their living standards are too.
Increasing population is also an important factor in increasing the poverty ratio ofPakistan. Poverty ratio in rural areas is more than in urban areas. Education is not so common here. Facilities regarding enjoyment are not available in villages. So the only way of enjoyment for rural people cause increase in their number of children. But these poor people do not know how they will feed their children with low income. This situation is also playing its role in poverty growth.
Pakistanis a country where man power is available is good size. Because of excess of this factor of production, this factor is getting less wages of his work and not gaining such importance that his power deserve. Political instability, corruption in government sectors, recession in economic and financial institution because of global crisis, lack of local and foreign investment due to uncertainty about country’s survival condition, wrong taxation system, every increasing burden of direct and indirect taxes on people, rising inflation, depreciation in value of Pakistani rupee in international as well as national market, these all factors jointly putting sarcastic effects on people income and causing to lower their purchasing power also. Lower income and lower purchasing power ratio mean increase in poverty ratio. This worse situation of poverty give rise to many social evils in poor people because to fulfill their daily needs these poor people agree to do wrong deeds like robbery, murder and get rupee as a reward.
I know that I as writer after writing and you as reader after reading can suggest many measures or methods to trim down this vicious circle of poverty, that are already told by many individuals, policy makers and economists in some what different manner. But the need of time is that we as nation, as patriot and we as politician now must be united to deal with this worst situation. Our government bodies now should place at end their personal and internal clashes and situate their capabilities at their level best for the welfare of this country so that all the people of this country with out any difference can enjoy beauties of life equally.
