Marketing vs Advertising

The difference between marketing and advertising.

 The question is obvious and yes, its a great question. Almost everyone confuses marketing with advertising but well, they are similar but not same. Let me explain you what advertising and marketing is .. in easiest possible words.

Marketing: Its a method of 'showing' your product to the customers so they can buy it. Its more like educating them that there's this product and you need to see it. In Urdu? Ek method jisse aap logon ko product show kartay hain taakay woh khareedein.
In marketing one will show the product clearing its availability in market whereas in advertisement one will present the importance of product how useful particular product is in daily life.

Advertising: Its a subset and the 'creative' approach that is used to sell the product or an idea. Through this, you don't only show the product but in fact create that urge/need/feel to customer to buy your product. In Urdu? Advertising main aap logon ko educate nai kartay about the product, aap logon ko majboor kartay hain ke aapka product khareeda jaaye through 'creative' ways.
 Marketing is more about educating the customer that these are the product benefits and stuff. Advertising is not educational, its about creating the urge in customer which should drive them to invest their money and buy that!
